**About the Role**: We are seeking a skilled Rental Property Specialist to join our team at Magnus James. As a leading specialist recruiter for the property industry, we cover various areas including New Homes, Residential Lettings, Estate Agents, Property Management, and Block Management.
Salary: The salary range for this position is £24,000 - £26,000 depending on experience, offering an attractive compensation package for the right candidate.
Job Description:
- Managing Scheduled Repairs and Maintenance: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing scheduled repairs and reactive maintenance, ensuring prompt resolution of any issues that may arise.
- Handling Incoming Lettings Enquiries and Booking Viewings: You will handle incoming lettings enquiries and booking viewings, providing exceptional customer service to both landlords and tenants.
- Ensuring Property Compliance: Ensuring property compliance with relevant certifications such as EICRs, gas safety, and EPC certifications is essential for this role.
- Overseeing Tenant Referencing Process: The Rental Property Specialist will oversee the tenant referencing process, verifying the suitability of potential tenants.
- Organising Move-in Paperwork: Organising move-in paperwork and supporting the wider department to ensure a smooth tenancy changeover is a key responsibility.
- Providing Advice to Landlords: You will provide advice to landlords on market conditions, helping them make informed decisions about their properties.
- General Lettings Duties: The role involves general lettings duties, including dealing with queries and providing excellent customer service.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous Lettings Experience: Essential for this role, previous lettings experience is crucial in delivering exceptional results.
- Strong Background in Customer Service: A strong background in customer service is vital in building strong relationships with clients and candidates.
- Professional Written and Verbal Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for effective communication with stakeholders.
