About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with our priorities and values.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver integrated communications campaigns across digital and traditional platforms.

Key responsibilities include building and maintaining professional relationships with stakeholders, overseeing media relations, crisis communication, and reputation management.

You will shape and deliver public engagement strategies that foster trust and enhance two-way communication with communities across Wiltshire.

About You and Your Experience

We're looking for someone with a degree or equivalent professional qualification in communications, or significant senior-level experience in media and communications.

Proven expertise in managing high-pressure media relations and delivering impactful public communications is essential.

A strong ability to manage reputational risk and lead communications during crises or major incidents is required.
