CrossReach is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team at Oversteps in Dornoch. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional residential care to older adults, supporting them to live as independently as possible while receiving the care and assistance they need.
Key Responsibilities
- Support service users' needs, manage care plans, and assist with personal and intimate care
- Help users with aids, liaise with health professionals, and ensure a high standard of their living environment and personal belongings
- Respond to emergencies, handle communications, and participate in meetings
- Adhere to CrossReach's policies and demonstrate Christian support through prayer and worship
Requirements
- SVQ 3 in Social Care or willingness to achieve this qualification
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and registration with SSSC
