About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging English Teacher to join our team at St Augustine Academy. As a key member of our English department, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English to students of all abilities, helping them to reach their academic potential and achieve their best.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of our students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective English curriculum.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to a mentor group, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Contribute to the development of Academy policies and procedures, ensuring that they are fair and supportive of staff and students.
About Us

St Augustine Academy is a non-selective 11-16 school in Maidstone, Kent, with a calm and purposeful atmosphere. We pride ourselves on our bespoke and carefully constructed curriculum, which is designed to engage and challenge our students. Our Academy has a strong focus on pastoral care and support, with a wide-ranging enrichment program that allows students to explore their interests and talents.

Requirements
