Cast UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their procurement career and take on more strategic responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent Excel skills, and experience in procurement or a related field. A CIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will manage the procurement of materials within their category, issue tenders, analyse supplier responses, and track commodity prices. They will also agree contractual terms with suppliers and undertake contract management activities.

The salary for this role is approximately £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • Manage the procurement of materials within your category

In addition to the above responsibilities, the successful candidate will deliver cost savings and added value within their category and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.

About You
  • Excellent analytical skills with good working knowledge of MS Excel
  • Previous experience in a procurement or related role
  • CIPS qualification, or willingness to work towards this
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills
