Our client, a leading media and events company, is seeking a skilled Content Editor to join their team. As a Content Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing engaging content for various platforms, including websites, event programmes, and social media channels.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Content Creation and Editing:
    1. Develop high-quality content that aligns with the company's brand voice and style guide.
    2. Collaborate with event planners and the marketing team to ensure content meets campaign goals.
    3. Source new content from industry experts and manage updates to event-related content on the company's website.
  2. Content Management:
    1. Oversee the editorial calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content for all events and marketing campaigns.
    2. Monitor and optimise content performance, making adjustments as needed based on analytics and feedback.
  3. Podcast, Webinar, and Virtual Event Hosting:
    1. Host and manage company podcasts, coordinating with guests and scripting episodes.
    2. Assist in planning and hosting virtual events, ensuring content and format align with the event's objectives and audience expectations.
  4. Collaboration:
    1. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with promotional strategies and campaign goals.
    2. Liaise with external contributors, such as freelance writers and podcast guests, as needed.
  5. Quality Assurance:
    1. Maintain a high standard of quality in all content, ensuring it is free from errors and aligns with the company's editorial guidelines.
    2. Conduct regular content audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
