Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at TechNichols Resourcing. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment in our factory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and issues
  • Conduct planned maintenance and shutdowns to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to achieve maintenance goals
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and reduce costs
Requirements:
  • Completed a recognized electrical engineering apprenticeship or hold an engineering Electrical qualification
  • Experience of electrical maintenance or similar within an industrial and/or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including 3-phase, star/delta motors, sensors, inverters, PLC fault finding, contactors, relays, and servo drives
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work safely and follow safe systems of work
