This role offers the opportunity to consolidate midwifery skills and knowledge in a rotational environment, working with experienced staff who are committed to delivering high-quality care.
Main Duties- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate programs of care in various environments, with autonomy and minimal supervision.
- Support, supervise, and teach less experienced staff on the ward/team, relevant clinical and non-clinical procedures, and practices.
- Work independently within the department/team, adhering to Trust guidelines and professional practice.

Person SpecificationEssential Criteria
- Registered Midwife eligible to be live on the register (including 3rd year students due to qualify)
- Degree in/working towards degree in Midwifery
Desirable Criteria
- NIPST trained
- Supervisor and assessor trained SSSA or equivalent
Experience
- Up-to-date mandatory training in fire, infection control, basic life support, and moving and handling
