We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Assistant to join our team at Pro Talent. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounts preparation and will be responsible for preparing financial statements, accounting schedules, and recommendations on accounting matters.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Preparation of financial statements from source documents/records to final accounts.
- Preparation of accounting schedules to support the balances and transactions included in the financial statements.
- Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Identification and recommendation of areas for process improvement.
- Collaboration with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective workflow.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- AAT level 3 or 4 qualification.
- Minimum 1 year's experience in accounts preparation.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based accounting systems, including Sage, Xero, and Quickbooks.
- Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good understanding of tax computations, PAYE, and VAT.
Compensation Package: We offer a competitive salary of £38,500 per annum, plus benefits and opportunities for professional development.
