We are seeking a highly skilled Homecare Assistant Lead to join our team at Service Care Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for providing 24-hour support to adults with severe learning disabilities and complex care needs in Islington.

The successful candidate will be part of a team that provides personalized care to residents using manual handling techniques and equipment. You will participate in relevant training and support residents in accessing community-based activities.

This role requires the successful candidate to work at evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required. You will also be responsible for supporting residents in accessing community activities, such as adult education classes, social events, sports groups, etc.

Key responsibilities:

  • Offer personalized care to residents
  • Support residents in accessing community activities
  • Participate in sleeping-in duty and waking night duties

We expect the successful candidate to have at least six months' experience working directly with adults with learning disabilities. Enhanced DBS is also mandatory.
