Theatre Educator Position in Harrow

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Theatre Educator to join our team at an excellent school in Harrow. As a Theatre Educator, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging theatre lessons to students in primary or secondary education.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic school environment, where their expertise and passion for theatre can be utilized to inspire students and help them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interactive and engaging theatre lessons to students according to the national curriculum
- Develop and implement schemes of work and lesson plans that cater to the needs of individual students
- Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' progress and performance
- Create and direct school productions and performances
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and professionals to develop cross-curricular projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Theatre or a related field
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience in teaching theatre to primary or secondary students
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Passion for theatre and the ability to motivate and inspire students
Benefits:
This role offers a competitive salary range of £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
