Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer, Data Protection to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for defining, assessing, monitoring, and reporting on technology and cyber privacy compliance requirements.


About the Role:

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience in IT privacy management or consulting on IT privacy and record management type engagements.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Define, assess, monitor, and report on technology and cyber privacy compliance requirements.
  • Assist in facilitating technology and cyber privacy impact assessments and reviews.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor technology and cyber privacy risk remediation programs.
  • Assess vendors/solutions from a data privacy perspective.
  • Support Group Legal with annual Record of Processing Activities (ROPAs).
  • Assess audit clauses, sub-processors, processing activities, and transfer impact assessments in supplier Data Protection Agreements (DPAs).
  • Track and report on data mapping of personal data at an application level.
  • Propose and drive privacy-related initiatives for IT and Cyber as they relate to new privacy regulations.

Requirements:
  • University graduate in Data Privacy, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or Cyber Security.
  • Good knowledge of IT and Privacy related frameworks and standards.
  • Ability to weigh business risk, provide guidance, and enforce appropriate technical controls.

Experience:
  • 8-10+ years of experience in IT privacy management or consulting on IT privacy and record management type engagements.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
