About the Role

As a skilled Bricklayer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the completion of repair and refurbishment works on time and to a high standard, adhering to our standard operating procedures.

You will be responsible for undertaking construction, fault finding, and maintenance repairs, aiming for first-time completion while staying within budget and time parameters.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring a professional customer experience by adopting a courteous manner when interacting with service users, clients, and internal/external stakeholders. This includes maintaining a high standard of appearance, company ID, vehicle condition, and Health & Safety requirements.

You may be required to obtain customer feedback upon completion of works.

You will process all activities electronically using a handheld device (PDA), including worksheets, timesheets, photographic evidence of works, van stock replenishment, booking of annual leave, vehicle inspections, safeguarding issues, risk assessments, and method statements.

You will be responsible for maintaining company assets in good condition, reporting any damages to your Supervisor/Manager.

You will utilize existing stock or collect materials as needed to meet works order requirements, adhering to standard operating procedures for purchasing and van stock control compliance.

You will attend informal and formal meetings and training sessions as required.

You may be required to participate in call-out cover to ensure contract compliance and service user satisfaction for emergency repairs.

Role Criteria:

  • UK full driving licence
  • Provide own hand tools and power tools
  • Previous bricklaying experience
  • Customer care experience
  • IT Literate
