KS2 Intervention Teaching Assistant Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate KS2 Intervention Teaching Assistant to support individuals to access bespoke learning programmes based on their developmental ages and abilities in KS2. These children are working below age-related expectations in core subjects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide learning support for pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
  • Plan, deliver, and resource interventions, and assess and report on the interventions, ensuring high impact on pupil progress and enabling pupils to achieve their potential.
  • Provide feedback to pupils and teachers on pupil's achievement, progress, and any problems that arise.
  • The ability to respond calmly and constructively when dealing with students with SEN.

Requirements:

  • Experience of supporting pupils in KS2 required.
  • CACHE level 2 or equivalent required.
  • The ability to seek advice and assistance to meet students' needs.

About the Role:

This is a temporary position, and in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
