Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a strong reputation in the industry, is seeking a highly skilled Visual Impairment Rehab Officer to join their team.

As a Visual Impairment Rehab Officer, you will work closely with clients to assess their visual impairments, recommend and provide appropriate equipment and adaptations, design and implement mobility programmes, and maintain accurate electronic documentation.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a sound understanding of community care legislation, including safeguarding policies, and a proven track record of partnership working with statutory and voluntary sector agencies.

Key qualifications include a professional qualification in rehabilitation studies or equivalent, HCPC registration, and previous experience in rehabilitation. A recognised qualification in rehabilitation and mobility work with visually impaired people is also essential.

This is a locum contract opportunity, offering £40 per hour, with a full-time shift pattern. The post provides an excellent chance to develop skills in providing services to Deaf and Hard of Hearing people and contribute to a dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality sensory impairment services.
