About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Operations Technician to join our team at AWE Plc. As a key member of our Operational Support Team, you will be responsible for maintaining and providing various assets used by our offsite response team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and provide detection equipment, radioactive sources, and other related assets
  • Work with the offsite response team to resolve emergency situations and support investigations
  • Support training and exercises to ensure the team's readiness and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with other teams to achieve operational readiness and effectiveness
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing and maintaining equipment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to short notice changes and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative
