About the Role: The successful candidate will be appointed as a joint member of the Department of Earth Sciences and St Hugh's College. They will contribute to the governance of the college and participate in department administration.

Responsibilities: The main duties of the post include carrying out research, participating in department administration, teaching, supervising, and examining undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Requirements: A doctorate in a numerate discipline relevant to climate science is required. Particular areas of interest include numerical modelling of biogeochemical cycles and other aspects of the climate system.

Package: A salary from £55,755 p.a. plus additional College pensionable benefits is offered. An allowance of £3,155 p.a. would be payable upon award of Full Professor title.
