Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brand Manager to join our Marketing Team at Norseland. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing brand plans and strategies for our award-winning cheese brands, including Applewood and our Licensed brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute brand plans and strategies to drive key metrics such as penetration, GM%, awareness, etc.
  • Collaborate with agencies to create compelling and on-brand messaging and content for marketing campaigns.
  • Manage all UK and international artwork for the selected brands, from briefing projects to sending artwork to print.
  • Lead the management of the product portfolio, including pricing, SKU management, and co-developing NPD with Product Development.
  • Take ownership of the digital strategy and work closely with the social media agency to execute an engaging social media plan.
  • Keep websites up to date and improve SEO using WordPress CMS.
  • Conduct market research to gather insights and data on brand awareness, brand performance, and positioning.
  • Analyse marketing campaign performance and ROI, consumer feedback, sales, and market data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with various departments to ensure seamless execution of marketing plans and product availability.
  • Assist in budget planning and tracking, ensuring that marketing initiatives stay within allocated budgets.
  • Function as a custodian for the brands, ensuring that all marketing materials and activities are up to date and adhere to brand guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced FMCG Brand Management role.
  • Proven track record in brand and campaign management.
  • Marketing or related degree holder.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, dedicated, and positive approach.
  • Comfortable managing and signing off UK and international artwork while following internal processes.
  • Great project management skills.
  • Good presenting skills.
  • Strategic, creative, and innovative thinker.
  • Well-versed in digital marketing, particularly using WordPress CMS, SEO, various social media platforms, social media ads, and analytics.
  • Confident working independently and making decisions, as well as being able to work cross-functionally and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail with an eye for design.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organisation, planning, and time management skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Data analysis and interpretation.
  • Budget management.
  • Good IT skills with an in-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Full UK driving license.
