Job Summary:

Avery Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Care Team Leader. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents.

About the Role:

As a Senior Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for supporting the home management team in delivering person-centred care. This will involve:

  • Leading the care planning process by implementing, monitoring, and evaluating care plans, and ensuring that changing needs are met.
  • Assisting in the smooth transition of residents from the home, including documentation and communication with next of kin.
  • Monitoring the well-being of each resident and ensuring that their needs are met.
  • Practicing safe systems of work and assessing risks to ensure the safety of residents, visitors, and staff.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • An NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes.
  • Two years' experience working in a senior position with the resident group.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to lead staff and act responsibly in the absence of the manager.
