About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Electricity North West (ENWL). As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing our electrical network infrastructure, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of electricity to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical network infrastructure, including HV/LV systems, substations, and transmission lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, technical reports, and presentations.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on electrical network design and development.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical network design and development.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical network design principles, including HV/LV systems, substations, and transmission lines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
