About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our team in Rheumatology and Endocrinology. The successful candidate will have experience in caring for patients with rheumatological and endocrinological conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the treatment pathways for these conditions and be able to work independently to manage patient caseloads. They will also have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

The role will involve responding to helpline calls, undertaking telephone clinics, preparing infusions, and supporting with investigations and treatments as prescribed. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to work with Nurse Specialists in Rheumatology and Endocrinology to develop their skills and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to helpline calls and undertake telephone clinics
  • Prepare infusions and support with investigations and treatments as prescribed
  • Work with Nurse Specialists in Rheumatology and Endocrinology to develop skills and knowledge
  • Supervise Healthcare Assistants and allocate workload as needed

Person Specification

  • NMC registered
  • Experience of working at an independent level with a patient caseload
  • Knowledge of treatment pathways for rheumatological and endocrinological conditions
