Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Emergency Medicine Consultant to work alongside our existing team. As a key member of the department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with pre-hospital, primary and secondary care colleagues, and providing clinical and educational supervision to doctors and ACPs in training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery of high-quality evidence-based care to patients across the full spectrum of emergencies in patients of all ages
  • Collaboration with pre-hospital, primary and secondary care colleagues to provide holistic patient-centered care
  • Clinical and educational supervision to doctors and ACPs in training
  • On-call responsibilities including direct senior clinical input into serious/complex cases and telephone advice on clinical, medico-legal, and ethical issues
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
  • Entry on the GMC Specialty Register via CCT (proposed date within 6 months), CESR, or European Community Rights
  • Extensive experience of the full range of Emergency Medicine presentations
