About the Job

We are seeking a Literacy Support Volunteer Lead to join our team at Shannon Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions for prison mentors and offering ongoing guidance and advice through regular mentor meetings.

Key Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions
  • Experience working with vulnerable groups or individuals

We offer a comprehensive training program consisting of four sessions and online portal access. This will equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role. You will also have opportunities to attend ongoing training sessions and peer support meetings to further develop your skills.

Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive estimated salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications
