The Opportunity

Finatal is partnering with a leading EdTech organisation to drive growth and expansion in the UK and European markets. This business has established itself as a key player in the industry, with a strong focus on innovation and people-led growth.

With a significant £30m turnover and a positive EBITDA, the business is backed by private equity and is on an ambitious path towards an exit within the next three years. The company operates with nearly 50% of the current market, providing a clear trajectory of growth and market share expansion.

The Role

We are seeking a dynamic and strategically-minded Finance Business Partner to join our high-performing team. This role is pivotal in driving commercial and business activities, working closely with senior leaders to influence and drive strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will possess a professional finance qualification and extensive experience within a recurring revenue or SaaS revenue model. You will lead detailed analysis on churn, growth, and overall business performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with senior non-finance stakeholders to drive change and financial excellence
  • Managing and interpreting large data sets to support business strategies and operational improvements
  • Traveling across the UK and Europe to support business growth and expansion
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A professional finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
  • Proven track record in a SaaS or recurring revenue environment
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience handling large data sets
  • Strong gravitas and communication skills, capable of partnering with and influencing senior stakeholders
  • A high level of comfort with technology and financial systems
  • A proactive and ambitious approach to driving business growth and change
