About the Role
Our client, a pioneering print business, is seeking a qualified management accountant to work closely with the Group Reporting Manager at their Stockport head office. The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified/chartered accountant with experience working for a global manufacturing, distribution, or blue-chip commercial organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the monthly accounting close process for 6 international entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
- Participate in statutory external audits for the group and its subsidiaries, providing support and expertise as required.
- Facilitate with audit partners to ensure statutory submissions, including Excise, VAT, and ONS submissions, are completed accurately and efficiently.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a graduate-level education and a recognized professional qualification or chartered accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, AAT). The ideal candidate will have demonstrable academic success and a strong understanding of financial management principles.
What We Offer
Salary on offer circa £45,000, plus benefits including 25 days holidays (plus Bank Holidays), death in service, option to join group dental scheme, well-being program, cycle to work scheme, retail discounts, and more. Due to this role working in a secure environment, candidates will be subject to a financial and DBS check prior to onboarding.
