Lead Clinical Physiologist in Cardiology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Clinical Physiologist in Cardiology to join our team at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust.
About the RoleThis is a 1 year fixed term contract opportunity for a Lead Clinical Physiologist in Cardiology who wishes to work with us to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Provide expert clinical leadership and management to the Cardiac Investigations Department.
- Develop and implement new policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.
- Undertake clinical supervision and training within the department.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert clinical guidance and support to junior staff members.
- Leading clinical audits and research projects.
- Developing and implementing new policies and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- BSc Clinical Physiology or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a Cardiac Investigation department.
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from £62,000 to £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to flexible working arrangements and a range of employee benefits.
LocationThe role will be based at St Mary's Hospital, Parkhurst Road, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5TG.
