Nissan Skills Foundation School Liaison Support

Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their Nissan Skills Foundation team as a School Liaison Support. This exciting opportunity will enable you to make a real difference in the lives of local children and young people, inspiring them to pursue careers in advanced Engineering and Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate daily school activities with children aged 10-11, promoting engagement in STEM subjects and increasing awareness of opportunities within the automotive sector.
  • Champion for engagement in STEM activities, working with young children to encourage growth in STEM-related learning.
  • Work with the Nissan Skills Foundation team to develop and deliver educational programs that meet the needs of local schools and communities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of educational programs and activities.
  • Contribute to the development of educational resources and materials that support the Nissan Skills Foundation's objectives.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience of working with young adults and children, with a strong understanding of the importance of education and skills development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with children, young adults, and teachers.
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a minimum of supervision, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • Passionate about education and committed to making a positive impact on the lives of local children and young people.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages and able to work effectively in a team environment.
