Role Overview
The Financial Conduct Authority is seeking a skilled Public Affairs Associate to join their Communications division. This dynamic role will involve building strong relationships with Parliament and senior stakeholders to ensure public confidence in the FCA's work.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpreting political developments and explaining FCA policy to relevant stakeholders.
- Providing guidance to senior FCA staff on emerging risks and opportunities.
- Preparing senior management for public and parliamentary events.
- Supporting the MPs' letters process.
- Leading projects to ensure effective communication of the FCA's work.
Requirements
- Experience in public affairs consultancy, in-house public affairs function, or Parliament.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of the political landscape and parliamentary procedure.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience in leading project teams.
