Job Title: Head of Shipping

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Shipping to join our dynamic team at Tech Connect Group. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a key role in our expanding company, which works closely with automotive OEMs and 1st tier suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the full supply chain, including long-term forecasting and stock management.
  2. Oversee sea freight and air freight, managing an extensive shipping budget.
  3. Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to support the company's operations and growth.
  4. Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to streamline inventory and order fulfilment processes.
  5. Occasional travel, though not extensive.
Ideal Candidate:
  1. Automotive or ex-military background with experience in dealing with OEMs/1st tier suppliers.
  2. Proven experience in international logistics, particularly working with suppliers in China.
  3. Expertise in sea freight and air freight management, with a strong understanding of global shipping logistics.
  4. Experience in managing complex supply chains with multi-layered customer demands.
