We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at Gi Group. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various metal components, including handrails, balustrades, and balconies.
Key Responsibilities- Install and repair metal components, including handrails, balustrades, and balconies
- Work on various construction sites, including domestic and commercial settings
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure accurate installation of metal components
- Operate various power tools and equipment, including drills, saws, and welding machines
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and meets safety regulations
- Hold a valid CSCS Card
- Have experience working with stainless steel
- Be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- On-site car parking
