Job Title: Cook

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at Trust Housing Association Limited. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our tenants, ensuring their dietary needs are met and their health and wellbeing are prioritized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook meals for our tenants, taking into account their dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Work collaboratively with our menu planner to ensure a varied and balanced menu is provided.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety in the kitchen.
  • Provide excellent customer service to our tenants, ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable and satisfying.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in cooking and serving quality food.
  • Relevant food-related qualification, such as REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.

  • A competitive hourly rate of £12.25-£12.50 per hour.
  • 28 contracted hours per week worked over a rolling 2-week rota.
