Robert Walters UK is seeking a highly skilled Group Accountant to join our team on a contract basis. Based in London, this role will report directly to the Group Reporting Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare technical accounting papers that meet company standards
  • Compile and present monthly group consolidations with accompanying analysis
  • Ensure timely submission of quarterly external reporting releases
  • Distribute consolidated forecast and budget information to relevant departments
  • Maintain open communication with external auditors to address any queries or concerns
  • Continuously improve group reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as required by management

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be a qualified accountant with extensive experience in group consolidations
  • Familiarity with listed company technical accounting requirements is essential
  • Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective stakeholder engagement
  • A proactive approach and strong problem-solving skills are crucial for success
  • Possession of advanced IT skills, preferably including knowledge of HFM, is advantageous
