About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at Zero Trace Procurement. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a vital role in attracting, sourcing, and recruiting top talent to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resourcing and Recruitment: Support the Head of People, Talent & Culture to ensure all resourcing and recruitment requirements are met and aligned with business plans.
  • Interview Scheduling and Talent Management: Assist the Head of People, Talent & Culture with scheduling interviews, employment reference checks, and resourcing talent.
  • Talent Pool Development: Assist the Head of People, Talent & Culture to support employment needs by strategically building relationships to access talent pools of applicants to meet the needs of the business for entry-level roles and experienced hires.
  • Recruitment Process Management: Support the recruitment process from start to finish, from selection via job boards to the induction process, including arranging induction days.
  • Initial Screening and Assessment: Conduct initial phone or video interviews to assess the suitability of applicants for a job, having sifted through potential talent on recruitment platforms, job applications, and referrals.
Induction, Onboarding, and Offboarding
  • Induction and Onboarding: Take ownership of the JML process at Zero Trace Procurement, including delivering the onboarding program for all new starters.
  • New Employee Induction: Carry out all new employee induction and onboarding, including ordering home office equipment and sharing details on the first day and expectations for all new hires.
  • Offboarding Process: Support with the offboarding process for any employees that leave the business to ensure a smooth exit transition and that all home office equipment has been returned to Zero Trace Procurement.
Working Environment
  • Home Office Equipment Management: Guarantee that all Zero Trace Procurement employees are operational by ensuring all home office equipment is kept in good working order and properly maintained.
  • Company Events and Travel: Coordinate company events and attend when required, as well as support with travel arrangements and expenses.
Human Resources
  • Confidentiality and Data Protection: Ensure and maintain that you are adhering to confidentiality across all areas of Human Resources, safeguarding and maintaining the confidentiality of all records handled.
  • HR Processes and Procedures: Work with the Head of People, Talent & Culture to update and streamline HR processes to ensure that workflows are consistent and scalable.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of Zero Trace Procurement and the Human Resource department.
Personnel, Records, and Ad-Hoc
  • Recruitment and JMP Planners: Ensure that the Recruitment & JMP Planners are up to date and maintained at all times, to track an employee's recruitment journey.
  • Human Resource Files and Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date Human Resource files, records, and documentation, maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records handled.
  • Clerical Support: Provide clerical support to the HR department, performing other duties as assigned.
Collaboration
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate and work cross-functionally with teams across the organization, building meaningful relationships and maintaining solid relationships internally and externally.
Person Specification
  • Essential Knowledge Requirements: Microsoft Outlook, Basic Excel, Customer Service, Numeracy, and General Admin.
  • Desirable Knowledge Requirements: Intermediate Excel, Energy Consultancy working environment, and Advanced Excel skills – Power BI.
  • Essential Skills and Abilities: Proactive and think outside the box, Good presentation skills, Good verbal and written communication skills, Good listening and reflective skills, Good interpersonal skills, Good organizational skills, Attention to detail, and Time management.
  • Essential Experience Requirements: 1-3 years of experience as a resourcer/recruiter, Clerical experience.
  • Essential Education and Qualification Requirements: A-Levels, GCSE's.
  • Desirable Education and Qualification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree.
