Job Summary:
Nuvia, a leading international company operating in highly regulated sectors, is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join its Transport Container team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for deploying your expertise and techniques across the entire life-cycle of engineering consultancy projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the project plan and delivery strategy in conjunction with other team members.
- Assess tenderer costs, performance indicators, and let subcontracts.
- Maintain a record of project costs and commitments, compare with plan, and take corrective action where required.
- Produce periodic progress reports for customers and internal stakeholders, including financial reports.
- Identify and assess risks to the project and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- Provide input for tender responses, including estimating, scheduling, and risk collation.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years' experience in Project Management/Engineering, ideally in an engineering, nuclear, defense, or other highly regulated environment.
- Excellent Excel skills for project reporting.
- Financial Management experience.
- Project cost experience, including hands-on monitoring and reforecasting.
- Engineering, Science, or Project Management qualification.
