Estimator Role Overview

Midgard, the main contracting division of the JRL Group, is seeking a skilled Estimator to join our preconstruction team at our head office in North London. As part of a well-established team, the successful applicant will gain experience tendering on a mixture of commercial and residential projects, including prestigious landmark schemes across the UK up to £350m in value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review tender documents and assess scope, risks involved, and tender complexity.
  • Provide feedback to the Senior Estimator.
  • Calculate and prepare quantities and source sub-contractors & suppliers capable of complying with tenders in coordination with the Estimating team.
  • Collaborate with the Commercial team on Value Engineering.

Requirements
  • Computer literate with a good proven competency in MS Office.
