Job Overview

A highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist is required to join our team at The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust. As a Radiologist Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert imaging services in gynaecological areas, contributing to the whole pathway by performing relevant interventions.

The successful candidate will work flexibly according to changes in work patterns and requirements, participating in the general on-call rota. Involvement in the organisation and administration of the Radiology Department, teaching of other clinical staff, and participation in regular clinico-radiological meetings with other Consultants are also essential duties.

With a focus on delivering high-quality patient care, the ideal candidate will have excellent team-working skills, a professional attitude, and the ability to work well in a multi-professional team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Reporting of general radiographic examinations carried out within the main sites and various community hospital locations.
  • Work flexibly according to changes in work patterns and requirements, and participate in the general on-call rota.
  • Involvement in the organisation and administration of the Radiology Department and teaching of other clinical staff.
