About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Advisor to join our team at Twining Enterprise, a dynamic mental health charity dedicated to supporting Londoners facing mental health challenges. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in our employment support services, working closely with clients to help them achieve their employment goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized employment support to clients, including job search assistance, CV writing, and interview preparation.
  • Work closely with clients to identify their strengths and needs, and develop tailored action plans to achieve their employment goals.
  • Collaborate with employers to identify job opportunities and facilitate job placements.
  • Maintain accurate records of client activity and outcomes, and contribute to the development of service performance reports.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to ensure ongoing professional development and adherence to Twining Enterprise's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 3 minimum or equivalent in employment support/advice, mental health, or a related field.
  • Experience of working with clients with mental health conditions, and a strong understanding of the support needs of this client group.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, employers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality services.
  • Basic counselling skills and experience of working in a health or social care setting.
