Job Description

The Associate Director of Research is a key leadership role at M3 Global Research, responsible for managing and overseeing a Client Service Team. As a leader, you will directly coach and mentor staff, build relationships with M3 clients, and work with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Management: Manage, mentor, appraise, and develop team members, monitoring team KPIs and workload distribution.
  2. Project Escalations: Responsible for managing project escalations to ensure the project is completed on time and within budget. This will require partnering with internal stakeholders to address issues and improve performance on research projects.
  3. Process Development: Working closely with senior management to adapt, develop, and initiate processes, procedures, and system enhancements.
  4. Project Oversight: Investigating and managing project escalations, ensuring the project is completed on time and to the satisfaction of the client.
  5. Team Productivity: Monitoring productivity and quality of data collection of their team's projects.
  6. Financial Management: Overseeing the billing process of the team, and ensuring projects end with expected profitability.
  7. Best Practices: Support the development and implementation of best practices and policies for client service.
  8. Client Service Improvement: Execute client service improvement plans on allocated accounts, ensuring collaboration with sales and other members of the team, and providing a consistent and solution-oriented approach across each touch point of the client journey.
  9. Training and Development: Overseeing the training of any new team members, as well as the training needs of current employees.
  10. HR Management: Responsible for approving annual leave, expense reports, and quarterly reviews of their direct reports.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Minimum 5+ years of experience in Market Research, 3+ years of project management experience, and experience in healthcare-focused Market Research preferred.
  2. Skills and Abilities: Be a self-motivated individual with exceptional time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Have strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
