Job Opportunity: Postperson with Driving
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Postperson with Driving. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering mail and parcels to customers across our network.
About the Role
This is a permanent contract position, working 27.5 hours per week, with a mix of weekdays and weekends. You will be required to work Sundays at our Valley Delivery Office, NE11 0UE.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver mail and parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
- Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer queries
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
- Operate a variety of vehicles, including vans and bicycles
- Work in all weather conditions
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary, paid monthly, with an hourly rate of £12.54. You will also receive overtime pay, 22.5 days holiday, and a company pension scheme. We provide full uniform and opportunities for career development, including trainee manager roles and apprentice schemes.
Requirements
- Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
