Warehouse Operations Manager

At Dobbies, we're seeking a skilled Warehouse Team Leader to play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences across our stores. As a key member of our warehouse team, you'll drive sales, promote customer loyalty, and maintain high warehouse standards.
Responsibilities
- Unload deliveries, check incoming stock, and arrange items correctly to ensure efficient stock management.
- Maintain the housekeeping of the warehouse and yard, ensuring a safe and tidy environment for our colleagues and customers.
- Oversee warehouse operations to maintain standards and stock control, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Supervise and monitor stock processes and procedures, providing feedback and coaching to team members.
- Work closely with the management team and staff members to maintain excellent communication and feedback, highlighting any issues that may impact our customers.
- Support and coach other staff members, deputising for the stock controller in their absence when required.
- You'll also work on the shopfloor and other areas of the store as needed, including taking to car deliveries, stock control routines, and assisting with heavy lifting.
- Some key holder responsibilities may be required.
Requirements
- You'll be passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- You have strong planning, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills, with experience in supervisory roles and the ability to identify training needs.
- You'll bring operations expertise with experience in retail and an understanding of stock processes and systems, ideally with a relevant forklift truck license.
- You work well within a team, build relationships, and have fun while celebrating success.
- You show up to work on time, well-presented, and bring a can-do attitude and a hard-working approach.
- You're eager to learn new skills and gain new experiences, demonstrating our values at all times.
