About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join our dynamic Paediatric Assessment Unit at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the unit's continued success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional nursing care to children and young people with complex medical conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in the supervision and teaching of junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and sharing your expertise to enhance patient care.
  • Contribute to the development of the ward or department, suggesting innovative solutions to improve patient experience and workflows.

Person Specification

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate nurse with:

  • NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Child).
  • Post-registration experience in an acute care setting, preferably within a paediatric environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
