Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Care Services Director to lead our team in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with acquired brain injuries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health care practices, legislation, and regulations, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the care team to ensure delivery of person-centred care that meets individual needs and preferences.
  • Oversee all aspects of home operations, including staffing, budget management, and regulatory compliance, to maintain the highest standards of care and safety.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders to promote trust, communication, and inclusivity.
  • Conduct regular assessments of residents' care needs and develop comprehensive care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Monitor quality of care through regular audits, evaluations, and feedback mechanisms to implement improvements and innovations.

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Health and Social Care Management or working towards.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a mental health care setting with a strong understanding of complexities and challenges associated with mental health conditions.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate a diverse team of care professionals.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practices governing mental health care.
  • A compassionate and person-centred approach to care with a genuine commitment to promoting rights, dignity, and well-being of individuals with mental health needs.
  • IT proficiency, including experience with care management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
