Additional Learning Support Administrator

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ALS Administrator to join our team at Tresham College. As a key member of our Additional Learning Support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Managing the Additional Learning Support claim, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data
- Ensuring processes for High Needs Students are followed and in place to enable the college to fulfill its statutory duties in relation to students with SEND
- Undertaking a range of processes to support the management of annual reviews and Exam Access Arrangements to support students with additional needs
About You:
- English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year
- L3 Business Administration (or similar).At least 3 years of experience of working effectively in a customer-focused environment
- At least three years' experience of successfully undertaking administration within the area of Additional Learning Support area
- A sound understanding of statutory duties in relation to students with SEND as identified within the SEND Code of Practice (2014)
- Experience of working with confidential documentation and information
- Outstanding working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to demonstrate evidence of working effectively on own initiative to meet deadlines
