Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development team with query optimization, software deployment, and contribute to the database design and development lifecycle.
  • Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle and PostgreSQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
  • Implement and manage Oracle RAC and Data Guard in on-premise environments, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Design, implement, and administer AWS RDS solutions for both Oracle and PostgreSQL, ensuring scalability and reliability in the Cloud.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to tune and optimize production queries, ensuring performance standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in Database Administration
  • 10+ years managing both development and production database environments
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in database design, optimization, and performance tuning
  • 3+ years of experience working with AWS, AWS Outposts including RDS administration and cloud-based database solutions
