About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Hunter AHP. As a Band 7 Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with physical and developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans to support children's physical and occupational needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote independence and participation in daily activities
  • Provide education and support to families and caregivers on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and outcomes

Requirements:

  • Band 7 qualification with experience in Paediatric Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
