Job Title: SEN Teacher
About the Role:
GSL Education is seeking a qualified SEN Teacher to join our team. As a SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized education plans for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, Dyslexia, and more.
- Empower and inspire students to thrive academically and emotionally.
Requirements:
- Experience teaching up to GCSE level (English or Maths preferable but not essential)
- Flexibility, creativity, and adaptability to thrive in our busy school environment
- Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to our pupils' diverse needs
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of current research in education
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Passion for building strong relationships with staff and pupils
- Strong IT skills and ability to lead others proactively
