Job Title: Payroll Administrator

At Activate Group Limited, we're seeking a skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our People Operations team, you'll be responsible for processing payroll and ensuring that all team members are paid correctly and on time.

About the Role

As a Payroll Administrator, you'll be responsible for:

  • Processing end-to-end monthly payroll for multiple PAYE payrolls, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reviewing and adding payroll data into our system.
  • Processing starters, leavers, pay changes, statutory payments, and benefits.
  • Actioning calculations for complex situations, including statutory payments, holidays, and pay adjustments.
  • Processing and submitting relevant HMRC forms.
  • Managing and administering pension schemes.
  • Providing payroll reports as required.
  • Maintaining up-to-date guidance notes on payroll processes.
  • Resolving queries from team members and people managers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in payroll administration.
  • Knowledge of payroll processes and legislation.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • First-class communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Data gathering, analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Strong Excel skills, including v-lookups and pivot tables.
