Job Title: Motor Controls Systems Expert

We are looking for an experienced Motor Controls Systems Expert to join our team at MBDA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Motor Controls team and mentoring team members. They will also support high complexity issues across projects and define the future strategy for Motor Control aspects of design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Motor Controls team and mentor team members.
  • Support high complexity issues across projects and define the future strategy for Motor Control aspects of design and delivery.
  • Design and develop control algorithms for digital control systems.
  • Use MATLAB / Simulink toolset and Embedded Coder for generating control algorithms ready for deployment.
  • Model complex electronic and mechanical systems such as feedback sensors, motors, drivetrains and drive electronics.

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary: £65000 - £85000 per annum.
  • Bonus Scheme: Up to 27% of base salary.
  • Benefits:
    • Car Allowance: £300 per month.
    • Pension: Up to 14% total employer and employee contribution.
