Join BMS Performance, a leading British manufacturer and supplier of motion and control automation systems, in a brand new Export Business Development Manager role. This exciting opportunity will see you selling a range of motors and controls used in industrial doors, gates, and barriers, with a focus on strategic new business approaches and international travel.

The Role:

As an Export Business Development Manager, you will have full autonomy to map global markets, develop a plan of attack, and execute it through face-to-face visits and activity from the UK. You will be working with a well-established and respected company that invests in its people, with excellent retention rates and plans for expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic new business approach to drive growth in global markets
  • Travel internationally 50%+ of the time to visit customers and prospects
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the industry
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies
Requirements:
  • Export and/or international sales background
  • Strategic new business approach and understanding of global markets
  • Able to travel internationally 50%+ of the time
  • Working knowledge of different cultures and ways of selling
