Private Client Tax Manager Role

We are pleased to be supporting a well-established tax and accounting practice in Cranbrook with their recruitment of a Private Client Tax Manager.

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of trusts and tax compliance clients, as well as providing ad hoc planning and advisory support to the Directors.

  • Preparation of trust accounts, trust self-assessment tax returns, and R185s
  • Preparation of IHT returns, estate tax returns, and personal tax returns
  • Ad hoc planning and advisory work, diverse, interesting, and challenging
Requirements

You will hold an accountancy or tax qualification, such as CTA or ACA, and be either at senior level looking for a route to manager level or a manager looking for their next step.

  • Excellent communication skills - written and in-person
  • Able to explain complex tax areas to clients in straightforward language
  • Flexible and a team player, able to handle your own portfolio of complex clients
